Fans eagerly awaiting the return of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku have been treated to a new preview, as a third trailer for Season 2 has been released, showcasing the anime’s ending theme song, “PERSONAL,” performed by the acclaimed group Queen Bee. The highly anticipated second season is set to premiere on January 11, 2026, with Crunchyroll confirming worldwide simulcast streaming outside of Asia.

New Trailer Offers Glimpse into “Lord Tensen” and “Hōrai” Arcs

The recently released third trailer provides further footage for the upcoming season, giving viewers a glimpse into the “Lord Tensen” and “Hōrai” arcs of Yuji Kaku’s original manga. Studio MAPPA, known for its high-quality animation, is returning to animate the new installment, ensuring continuity in the series’ visual style and intensity. The new footage builds anticipation for the continuation of Gabimaru and Sagiri’s perilous journey on the mysterious island of Shinsen.

Queen Bee Delivers Haunting New Ending Theme: “PERSONAL”

The trailer notably features the newly announced ending song, “PERSONAL,” by the band Queen Bee (also known as Ziyoou-vachi). Queen Bee is celebrated for their unique and often electrifying musical style, previously contributing to other popular anime series. Their involvement promises to add a distinctive auditory experience to the conclusion of each episode. This follows the earlier announcement of the opening song for Season 2, “Kasuka na Hana,” by Tatsuya Kitani feat. BABYMETAL.

Queen Bee’s Previous Anime Contributions

Queen Bee has a history of delivering memorable theme songs for anime, often matching the dark and intense themes of the series they accompany. Their characteristic blend of rock, pop, and electronic elements, combined with Avu-chan’s powerful vocals, has resonated with fans worldwide. Their selection for Hell’s Paradise Season 2’s ending theme aligns with the anime’s dark fantasy and psychological thriller genres.

Season 2 Premiere Date and Streaming Details

Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku Season 2 is officially slated to begin its broadcast on January 11, 2026. Crunchyroll will be streaming the series internationally outside of Asia, ensuring global accessibility for fans. Netflix will also stream the series in select regions of Asia. The return of the anime, three years after its successful first run, marks a significant addition to the Winter 2026 anime schedule.

Production Team and Cast Remain Consistent

The main staff and voice cast from the first season are reprising their roles for Season 2. Kaori Makita returns as director, with Akira Kindaichi handling the series composition, Koji Hisaki as character designer, and Yoshiaki Dewa composing the music. The familiar voices of Chiaki Kobayashi as Gabimaru and Yumiri Hanamori as Yamada Asaemon Sagiri will continue to bring the characters to life.

A Look Back at Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku’s Journey

Based on Yuji Kaku’s manga, Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku follows condemned ninja Gabimaru and executioner Sagiri as they venture to a mysterious, life-threatening island in search of the Elixir of Life, which promises a pardon from the Shogun. The manga ran from 2018 to 2021 on Shonen Jump+. The first season, animated by MAPPA, aired from April to July 2023 and garnered a strong following. The upcoming season will delve deeper into the island’s mysteries and the formidable challenges Gabimaru and his companions face as they confront the powerful Lord Tensen.
