Hiru Morino’s action-packed manga series, Luna Knight, has officially concluded its run. The final chapter was published in the December issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Young Magazine on Tuesday. The series, which debuted in September 2024, will see its third and final collected volume ship on January 20, 2026.
Seven Seas to Publish Luna Knight in English
For international fans, Seven Seas Entertainment announced last month its plans to publish Luna Knight in English. The first volume is slated for an August 2026 release, bringing the thrilling narrative to a broader audience. Digital editions will also be available on various platforms.
A Tale of Revenge and Rediscovery
Luna Knight follows the story of Luna Amano, a high school girl whose seemingly ordinary life is shattered when her sister’s flower shop is set ablaze by dangerous criminals. This traumatic event triggers a surge of hazy, forgotten memories and awakens dormant “killer skills” within her. Driven by a thirst for revenge, Luna finds herself navigating a perilous path against the city’s most dangerous men, all while grappling with her mysterious past.
The manga is categorized as an action, psychological, crime, and adventure seinen series, appealing to a mature readership. Key thematic elements include amnesia, arson, assassins, and a shadowy criminal organization known as the “Round Table,” with strong allusions that Luna herself may be one of their brainwashed “sleeper agents.” Morino Hiru is credited for both the story and art of the series.
