Kadokawa’s Dengeki Daioh G magazine has launched a manga adaptation of Hitoma Iruma’s yuri novel series, Hitozuma Kyōshi ga Oshiego no Joshi Kōsei ni Dohamari Suru Hanashi (A Story of a Married Teacher Becoming Obsessed With Her Female Student). The first chapter of the manga, drawn by Shion Kawakami, was published in the magazine’s October issue on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, and featured on its front cover.
Delving into a Forbidden Romance
The original novel series, known for its intricate exploration of a forbidden relationship, centers on Itsuki Ichigohara, a married high school teacher in her late 20s. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she becomes acquainted with Rin Togawa, a kind, gentle, and pretty student who is 10 years her junior. Itsuki, concerned about Rin’s personal problems, visits the student, leading to a pivotal moment where Itsuki makes a move on Rin, culminating in a kiss on her bed.
The narrative then unfolds as the two navigate their “dangerous and forbidden relationship, filled with betrayal, unfaithfulness, and personal ruination, yet somehow still warm and intimate.” MyAnimeList describes the premise as a “lustful and unfaithful but somehow warm. A love story between a female teacher and a female student.”
