Yen Press is bringing a fresh batch of manga to English-speaking audiences! Several new titles have been licensed for release, spanning various genres from rock music to complicated romance. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect to see on shelves soon.
“Rock Is a Lady’s Modesty”
Rock Is a Lady’s Modesty (Rock wa Lady no Tashinamideshite) is a manga created by Hiroshi Fukuda. The series follows Lilisa Suzunomiya, a young woman who, after her mother’s remarriage, becomes the daughter of a wealthy real estate tycoon. To fit her new role, Lilisa abandons her guitar and love for rock music to embody the image of a refined young lady. However, her passion for rock is reignited when she encounters a skilled drummer at her all-girls’ school.
The manga launched in Young Animal in October 2022, and as of March 2025, seven compiled book volumes have been published in Japan. An anime adaptation premiered on April 3, 2025.
“I Don’t Know How to Love”
I Don’t Know How to Love (Koi no Shikata ga Wakaranai) is a manga by Yu Machio. The story centers around Aimi, a popular but “trashy” individual who dates multiple people to avoid commitment. He’s currently seeing Kaede, an undemanding underclassman who doesn’t make requests or express unnecessary emotions. Aimi becomes possessive when he notices Kaede’s unchanging attitude even when he’s caught kissing someone else, but his feelings don’t seem to reach her.
“Lilies Blooming in 100 Days”
Lilies Blooming in 100 Days (100-Nichi Go ni Saku Yuri) is a full-color manga by Muromaki, featuring various yuri (girls’ love) scenarios. The manga originates from the artist’s #100DaysofYuriChallenge and includes high school, adult, and age-gap couples in cute, funny, and spicy situations.
“My Beloved Supper”
My Beloved Supper (Yoru-san no Itoshi no Bansan) is a manga by Kaho Ozaki. Yoru is a vampire who prefers human cuisine over fresh blood. However, he needs to drink blood as an appetizer before he can enjoy human food. Yoru spends his nights hunting criminals to satisfy his blood cravings, all for the sake of enjoying his beloved supper.
“What Do You Call This Trash?”
What Do You Call This Trash? (Kono Gomi wo Nanto Yobu) is a manga by tetsukazu. The story revolves around Yuuto and Akira. Yuuto has always dreamed of being with Akira, and now that his older brother has dumped her, he might have a chance. However, his brother ended the relationship for a reason: Akira is an obsessive and manipulative stalker who would exploit Yuuto’s feelings to get closer to her ex. Despite knowing this, Yuuto can’t resist her.
