Fans of the popular “I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too” (Isekai de Cheat Skill o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musōsuru) anime series can mark their calendars, as a new television special is officially slated to air at the end of March 2026. The highly anticipated TV special was first teased as a “new anime project” in 2023, with its nature confirmed as a television special during a stage event at AnimeJapan 2025. This special will continue the adventures of Yuuya Tenjou, the protagonist who discovers a magical door granting him incredible powers in another world, which then transfer back to his original world.
Returning Cast and Staff
Key members of the cast and production team from the first season are returning for the special. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will once again voice Yūya Tenjō, Akari Kitō as Kaori Hōjō, and Kaori Maeda as Lexia von Arcelia. The special will be directed by Shin Itagaki, who served as chief director for the first anime season, with Hiromi Kimura returning to handle character designs. Animation production will again be handled by Millepensee, and UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS is in charge of planning and production.

To build excitement, a teaser visual and character setting images for Yuty (uniform version) and Ken Sei (Fist Saint) were also revealed during the announcement event.
