Voice actress Yōko Hikasa has joined the cast of the second season of the anime series I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability (Tensei Shitara Dainana Ōji Datta no de, Kimamani Majutsu o Kiwamemasu). Hikasa will voice the character Anastasia, a priestess who will make her appearance in the 17th episode, airing on Wednesday.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by the staff of the television anime adaptation of Kenkyo na Circle’s light novel series.
About Yōko Hikasa’s Role as Anastasia
Yōko Hikasa will portray Anastasia, a priestess connected to the Holy Church. Her character has been hinted at in the season’s opening sequence and is set to play a significant role as the story progresses. Hikasa is renowned for her extensive voice acting career, with notable roles including Maria Cadenzavna Eve in Symphogear, James Bonde in Moriarty the Patriot, and Freya in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon?
Season 2 Premiere and Streaming Information
The second season of I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo on July 9, 2025 (effectively July 10, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. JST), and is also broadcasting on other networks. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs and also offers an English dub. The English dub for Season 2 began streaming on Crunchyroll on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
The anime follows the story of a sorcerer who, after dying with the regret of not having enough time to perfect his magic, is reincarnated as Lloyd, the seventh prince of the Kingdom of Saloum. Blessed with a powerful magical bloodline, Lloyd uses his new life to delve deeply into the study of magic.
