Arata Shiraishi, the acclaimed writer behind the popular I’m Just a Villager, So What? light novel series, has officially launched a new manga titled Kōjo Tensei ~Densetsu no Dai Madōshi (♂), Hime Kishi to Narite Densetsu no Reijō Kishi-dan wo Tsukuri Musō Suru~ (Princess Reincarnation: The Legendary Great (Male) Magician Becomes a Princess Knight, Creates the Legendary Lady Knights Order and Becomes Unrivaled). The new series, penned by Shiraishi with illustrations by Naka Nanatsu, debuted on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket service on Sunday, September 1, 2025.
Delving into the New Isekai Adventure
The newly launched manga introduces readers to a compelling fantasy premise. The story revolves around a powerful magician who, tragically, dies before fulfilling his ambition of becoming the strongest in the world. However, fate intervenes, and he finds himself reincarnated into royalty. Gifted with a body possessing formidable close-combat skills, the protagonist is reborn as a princess named Evangeline.
Despite royal decree forbidding her from combat training, Evangeline secretly hones her abilities, eventually ascending to become the strongest warrior. This setup promises a blend of action, fantasy, and the popular “isekai” (other world) genre elements that Shiraishi is known for.
