The anime adaptation of Yakitomato and Kotatsu’s manga series, I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? (ニートくノ一となぜか同棲はじめました, Nīto Kunoichi to Nazeka Dōsei Hajimemashita, lit. ‘For Some Reason I Started Living with a NEET Kunoichi’), is gearing up for its second cour (quarter of a year). About the Anime
I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? is a romantic comedy anime series directed by Hisashi Saito and produced by Quad. The series premiered on January 5, 2025, and consists of 24 episodes with each episode running for approximately 12 minutes.
Synopsis
The story revolves around Tsukasa Atsumi, an ordinary businessman who is one night attacked by demons, and is saved by a genius kunoichi named Shizuri Ideura. Shizuri, however, is a NEET otaku who spends most of her time playing video games. Tsukasa and Shizuri end up living together with Tsukasa providing Shizuri with housing in exchange for protection from the demons and she serves as his bodyguard.
Characters
Tsukasa Atsumi: Voiced by Shōya Ishige. An ordinary salaryman who becomes Shizuri’s master in exchange for her protection from demons.
Shizuri Ideura: Voiced by Hinaki Yano. A genius kunoichi who is also an otaku and a NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). She makes a master-servant contract with Tsukasa in exchange for staying with him. Despite her skills in defeating demons, she spends all her time playing video games and lazing around the house.
Ayame Momochi: Voiced by Fairouz Ai.
