The upcoming TV anime adaptation of Masuo Kinoko’s light novel series, A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai (Sozai Saishuka no Isekai Ryokōki), has revealed its composer and confirmed its premiere for October 2025. Fans can look forward to Hiroshi Takaki, known for his work on Witchy Precure! and AKB0048, creating the musical landscape for Takeru’s adventures in the magical world of Madeus.
From Light Novel to Anime Screen
A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai began as a web novel on the AlphaPolis platform in July 2016, before being published as a light novel series starting in January 2017. To date, the series has 16 volumes. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Tomozo, began serialization on AlphaPolis’ manga website in December 2017. The manga currently has eight tankōbon volumes. Alpha Manga publishes the manga in English. The light novel series won both the Grand Prize and the Readers’ Choice Award in the 9th AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Prizes in 2016. The series boasts impressive sales, with 1.73 million copies in circulation, including digital copies.
The anime adaptation was announced on March 9, 2025, and is produced by Genco, with animation by Tatsunoko Production and SynergySP.
