Leading the charts for the week of June 16-22 was the perennial favorite Sazae-san, which aired on Fuji TV on Sunday, June 22, at 6:30 p.m. and garnered an average household rating of 6.4%. Following closely was Detective Conan, broadcast on NTV on Saturday, June 21, at 6:00 p.m., securing a 4.8% rating. Chibi Maruko-chan, another beloved classic, aired on Fuji TV on Sunday, June 22, at 6:00 p.m., achieving a 4.4% rating.
Niche and Notable Performances
A unique entry in the rankings was a joint listing of the variety show Ueda to Onna ga DEEP ni Hoeru Yoru and Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, which aired together on NTV on Tuesday, June 17, at 11:59 p.m., and received a combined rating of 3.2%.
