Kodansha USA’s K Manga digital subscription service has officially announced the acquisition of Suzu Kayukawa’s manga, “The Noble Student and His Cinderella” (original title: Taishō Gakusei Aisai-ka), for English simulpub. The announcement was made on July 2 via K Manga’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.

“The Noble Student and His Cinderella” joins K Manga’s growing lineup of simultaneously published manga titles, allowing English-speaking readers to access new chapters shortly after their release in Japan. This move aligns with K Manga’s commitment to providing timely access to popular and emerging Japanese manga series. The series initially launched in June 2024.
Synopsis of “The Noble Student and His Cinderella”
Set in Tokyo during the 10th year of the Taisho period (1921), the story introduces Fuki, a 24-year-old maid serving the distinguished Tachibana family. Her life takes an unexpected turn with the return of Yugo, the family’s son, who has come home to enroll at The First Imperial University.
Fuki, having recently had her engagement dissolved, finds herself in a unique situation when Yugo, tasked with finding a suitable wife, proposes marriage to her. Despite the significant differences in their age and social standing, and in an era where parental consent was crucial for marriage, the narrative unfolds to explore the married life of this admirable maid and elite student.
