The manga series The God of Time (Jikan no Kami-sama), created by story writer Kanae Nakanishi and artist Tsukasa Furokawa, is set to conclude in just two more chapters. The announcement came via the manga’s 14th chapter, indicating an approximate end date of August 28, barring any unforeseen delays.

Serialization and Digital Availability

The God of Time originally launched on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service on May 22 of this year. For international readers, Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service has been publishing the manga digitally in English, making it accessible worldwide.

Story Synopsis

The series centers on a girl named Yuki who discovers a mysterious watch with the power to stop time. She utilizes this extraordinary ability to save a boy named Hiroki from a life-threatening situation. Their shared secret about the watch binds the two, leading to a suspenseful romance unfolding in a world where time can be manipulated.

Upcoming Volume Releases

In conjunction with its digital conclusion, The God of Time will be compiled into two physical tankobon volumes. The first volume is scheduled for release on September 4, with the second and final volume following shortly after on October 3.

Creators’ Previous Works

Kanae Nakanishi, the story writer for The God of Time, and Tsukasa Furokawa, the artist, previously collaborated on the manga Shojo Null. That series, which also appeared on Shonen Jump+, ran from August 2023 to September 2024.
