Kasuga Ryo’s “Isekai Metaller” manga has officially ended its run, with its final chapter published on Hero’s Inc.’s Comiplex website on Friday. The conclusion comes as the comedic action-adventure series, which blends heavy metal and isekai fantasy, is being released in English by Titan Manga.

“Isekai Metaller” follows the story of Alex, a devoted metalhead whose life takes an unexpected turn after being electrocuted during his band’s final performance. Instead of a traditional afterlife, Alex awakens in a fantastical world teeming with dragons, werewolves, and various monsters—a setting that, for a metal enthusiast, is a dream come true. Armed with his trusty “Flying V” guitar and a mysterious “level 999 power boost,” Alex embarks on a quest to save this new world, using the power of rock ‘n’ roll to confront its challenges.

Serialization and English Release
The “Isekai Metaller” manga originally launched on Hero’s Inc.’s Comiplex website in March 2024. Prior to this, it was serialized on ebookjapan under the title “Another World Metaller Lv.999,” starting in March 2021. The “Lv.999” was dropped when it moved to HERO’S.
For English-speaking audiences, Titan Manga began releasing the series earlier this month, with the first volume hitting shelves on October 14. The second volume is already slated for release on January 13, 2026, promising to continue Alex’s journey with even higher stakes and deadlier dangers. Hero’s Inc. published the fourth compiled volume in Japan on June 5.
