The “Koisuru One Piece” (“One Piece in Love”) anime adaptation is set to premiere on April 1st, 2025, and five new cast members have just been announced! This gag manga spin-off by Daiki Ihara is getting a series of net anime shorts that will stream daily from April 1st to April 5th.
New Cast Members Announced
Here are the newly announced cast members:
- Akari Kito as Yoshioka Sato
- Akira Ishida as the Biology Club President
- Megumi Han as Tsuchi
- Takehito Koyasu as Toriko Kurono
- Mahito Ohba as the Narrator
These actors join the previously announced main cast:
- Ryosuke Kanemoto as Luffy Yamamoto
- Ayane Sakura as Nami Koyama
- Yuichi Nakamura as Usopp Nakatsugawa
What is “Koisuru One Piece”?
“Koisuru One Piece” reimagines the world of “One Piece” in a high school setting. It focuses on students who share names with the Straw Hat Pirates. The series blends slice-of-life, comedy, and romance as these characters navigate teenage life while running a “One Piece” fan club. Nami Koyama is also in love with Luffy in this series.

Where and When to Watch
The “Koisuru One Piece” anime shorts will be released daily from April 1st to April 5th at 8:00 p.m. JST (7:00 a.m. EDT). You can stream them on the official “One Piece” YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok accounts.
A Gag Manga Adaptation
Daiki Ihara launched “Koisuru One Piece” on the Shonen Jump+ service in June 2018. The manga went on hiatus in November 2021 but is set to resume serialization on April 10th, 2025.
