This announcement comes as the OVA enjoys a limited two-week theatrical run in Japan, which began on March 14, 2025.
“Nisemono Chūi!”: Guest Cast Details
The guest cast will be featured in the episode titled “Nisemono Chūi!” (Beware of Fakes!). These voice actors will be playing characters who are essentially knock-off versions of the main protagonists.

The KonoSuba Season 3 -Bonus Stage- OVA consists of two unaired episodes from the third season. It began its two-week theatrical screening in Japan on March 14, 2025. The OVA is scheduled for release on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on April 25, 2025. The two episodes are titled “Red Stream Explosion!” and “Nisemono Chūi!” (Beware of Fakes!).
About KonoSuba Season 3
The third season of the KonoSuba anime series premiered in April 2024 and aired for 11 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired, including an English dub.
Synopsis: The dysfunctional party is back, but they may be short a member soon ’cause Kazuma is over it. Disillusioned with adventure, he wants to become a monk, but Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness call bull. However, the career dispute gets put on hold when a princess requests to hear all about their tales. Will the taste of fame at the royal castle keep them together or will this mark their farewell tour?
Anime Production and Previous Seasons
Takaomi Kanasaki, who directed the previous anime seasons, is serving as the chief director for Season 3 at Drive. Yujiro Abe (episode director for Kaguya-sama: Love is War, Great Pretender) is directing the series. Makoto Uezu is again in charge of the series scripts, and Koichi Kikuta is returning as character designer. Masato Kōda is also returning to compose the music.
Notably, Studio Deen animated the first two seasons, while J.C. Staff animated the film KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! – Legend of Crimson. Drive also produced the Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! spin-off anime series.
