The Story of Kunon the Sorcerer Can See
The Kunon the Sorcerer Can See anime is based on Umikaze Minamino’s light novel series, which began as a web novel in August 2021. Yen Press publishes the English version of the novels, describing the story of Kunon, a genius sorcerer born blind, who aims to be the first person to use water magic to create new eyes for himself. After only five months of study, he has already surpassed his teacher and continues to expand his magical repertoire, sensing color and even conjuring a cat. His remarkable skills earn him a place as a disciple to the most powerful magician in the land, as he delves further into the mysteries of magic and challenges conventional wisdom. The light novel series currently spans seven volumes, with an eighth volume set for release in December. A manga adaptation by La-na is also ongoing.
