The popular manga series Magilumiere Co. Ltd. (also known in English as Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc.) has officially concluded its serialization. The final installment, chapter 160, was released on July 9, 2025. This marks the end of a four-year run for the series, which began in October 2021.
The Conclusion of the Magical Girl Workplace Story
The 159th chapter of the manga, released on July 2, 2025, confirmed that the series would wrap up with its subsequent chapter. Written by Sekka Iwata and illustrated by Yu Aoki, Magilumiere Co. Ltd. has been serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website and mobile app. The final chapter was made available through the Shonen Jump+ manga app.
Serialization and English Release
The manga initiated its serialization on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service in October 2021. Shueisha has also published the individual chapters in collected tankōbon volumes, with the 17th volume released on June 4, 2025. For English-speaking audiences, Viz Media and MANGA Plus have been releasing the manga. Viz Media publishes the series physically in North America under the title Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc., with its eighth volume released on June 17, 2025, and the ninth volume slated for August 19, 2025. The digital distribution for English readers is handled by Manga Plus.
Anime Adaptation and Future Seasons
Beyond its manga run, Magilumiere Co. Ltd. also inspired a television anime adaptation. The first season premiered in Japan in October 2024. Produced by Moe and J.C.Staff, the anime series aired from October to December 2024 and was streamed globally by Amazon Prime Video.

Fans of the Magilumiere Co. Ltd. universe have more to anticipate, as a second season of the anime adaptation is confirmed and currently in production. It is expected to air in 2026. This continuation of the animated story will portray protagonist Kana Sakuragi’s further growth as both a working adult and a magical girl. The anime series features a talented cast, including Fairouz Ai as Kana Sakuragi, Yumiri Hanamori as Hitomi Koshigaya, Rikiya Koyama as Kōji Shigemoto, Daiki Yamashita as Kazuo Nikoyama, and Ryota Ohsaka as Midorikawa.
