Mangamo, a mobile manga subscription service, has recently announced the acquisition of several new manga licenses from Japanese publisher Amazia, along with a collection of webcomics from Chinese company Snap Studio. This expansion significantly broadens Mangamo’s already extensive digital library, offering subscribers more diverse reading options.
New Manga Titles from Amazia
During Anime Expo earlier this month, Mangamo unveiled a robust slate of new manga series sourced from Amazia. These additions cover a range of genres, catering to various reader preferences.
Among the newly licensed titles from Amazia are:
- Training Plan of the Strongest Brave Hero’s Apprentice by Imu Suhara (story) and Uejin (art).
- Magic on Deathrow by Toru Mudo (story) and Shun Aoi (art).
- Can Darkness Step into the Spotlight? ── From Banished Assassin to True Hero with Maidens of Darkness by His Side by Mionichi (story) and Hodaka Tachibana (art).
- The (Poisoned) Invincible Poison Magician by Shinkosei (story) and Musha Tatsutora (art).
- The Unworthy Prince’s Princess Conquest by LeonarD (story) and Uru (art).
- The Late-Blooming Explorer by Keiichi Ato (story), Kokage Akino (art), and bob (character design).
- Demon Ruler: The Over-Leveling of a Man Who Just Wants to go Home on Time by Kasane Ichiesa (story), Toshio Takenouchi (art), and Shiki Doji (character design).
- Fujisaki’s Mom has a secret by Waikei.
- Super long range middle-aged archer by Yoshiro Ambe and Owl Kusanoha.
- I’m a holy knight but every girl I like ends up joining this other guy’s harem. Someone please tell me what I’m doing wrong?! by Amida Kiridou (story) and Yuchi Sumika (art).
Previously, in July 2024, Mangamo also announced three other Amazia-published manga at Anime Expo: Too Rotten For Romance, How Me and My Max Empathy Level Magical Beast Pals Built a Fantasy World Kingdom, and Fevered Nights.
Entering the Webcomic Space with Snap Studio
In addition to traditional manga, Mangamo is diversifying its offerings by introducing webcomics to its platform. This new venture begins with several titles from the Chinese company Snap Studio. Snap Studio is known for publishing various comics, including manhua and webtoons, across multiple platforms.
The initial webcomic titles from Snap Studio available on Mangamo include:
- Keep Calm, Mr. Song! Live Happily Ever After With My Ex’s Uncle.
- Love After Marriage.
- Nip and Tuck.
