The popular action-romance comedy manga series, “Marriage Toxin,” by Jōmyaku and Mizuki Yoda, is officially receiving a TV anime adaptation slated for a 2026 release. The announcement was made today, revealing key staff, cast, and a teaser visual and trailer for the upcoming series.
Published by Shueisha, “Marriage Toxin” has garnered a significant following since its debut on the Shonen Jump+ app in April 2022. Viz Media also licenses the manga for English release.

Production Team
Motonobu Hori, known for his work on Metallic Rouge and Carole & Tuesday, is set to direct the “Marriage Toxin” anime. Kimiko Ueno, who worked on ZENSHU and Astro Note, will handle the series composition and script. The character designs and chief animation direction will be managed by Kohei Tokuoka, whose credits include The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity. The primary voice cast members have also been unveiled:
