The upcoming anime film Mirage Queen Vacances Élégantes has released a new trailer, revealed its theme song artist, and announced additional cast members. The film, a sequel to the 2022 OVA Mirage Queen Prefers Circus, is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on May 23, 2025.

The trailer for Mirage Queen Vacances Élégantes offers a sneak peek into the film’s plot, which revolves around the Phantom Thief Queen. Queen receives an invitation from magnate Satchmo Wilson, owner of the Imperial Sapphire. Queen, along with Joker, accepts the challenge, disguising themselves as passengers on the Royal Satchmo. The goal: to have a “elegant vacations” while stealing the gem.
Anipani to Perform Theme Song “Queen’s illusion”
The theme song for Mirage Queen Vacances Élégantes, titled “Queen’s illusion,” will be performed by Anipani (Rinu feat. TIGUSAKUN & Vau). The song promises to capture the film’s thrilling and mysterious atmosphere.

About the “Mirage Queen” Series
The Mirage Queen series is based on the novels by Kaoru Hayamine, with illustrations by K2 SHOUKAI. The novels follow the adventures of the Phantom Thief Queen, a mysterious thief of unknown gender, age, and nationality, who is capable of stealing anything they desire. Queen travels the world with their partners Joker and RD on the airship Troubadour.
The first novel in the series, Mirage Queen Prefers Circus, was adapted into a theatrical OVA in June 2022. HIDIVE streams the previous installment and describes the story: They always steal the prey they aim for. That is Phantom Thief Queen. Gender, age, nationality unknown. Together with their partner Joker, RD, they travel around the world on the airship Troubadour. This time, the Queen is aiming for a cursed jewel, the legendary Rose of Linden.
