Musashino Rondo centers on the lives of:
- Musashibara Tamaki: A sharp-tongued, independent 35-year-old woman.
- Musashibara Bunta: Tamaki’s younger brother, who moves back home after a breakup.
- Agawa Ryuuhei: Tamaki’s former student and next-door neighbor, a 25-year-old who harbors an unrequited love for her.
The manga tells a mature love story with an ensemble cast, set against the backdrop of a relaxed town. The story explores how Ryuhei deals with his feelings after being rejected twice by Tamaki.
