The highly anticipated second season of the anime series My Dress-Up Darling has unveiled its main trailer, confirming its premiere date and introducing two new cast members. Fans can mark their calendars for July 5, 2025, when the series is set to begin airing. Crunchyroll has also confirmed that it will simulcast the new season.
The newly released main trailer offers a sneak peek at the upcoming season, featuring both the opening and ending theme songs. The opening theme, “Ao to Kirameki,” will once again be performed by Spira Spica, who also contributed to the first season’s opening. The ending theme song, titled “Kawaii Kaiwai,” is by the new idol unit PiKi.
Adding to the growing anticipation, two new voice actors have joined the cast: Ayumu Murase will lend his voice to Amane Himeno, while Shohei Komatsu will voice Shiki Kashiwagi.
The core creative team behind the beloved first season will be returning for My Dress-Up Darling Season 2. Keisuke Shinohara is once again directing the series, with Yoriko Tomita credited as the head writer for series composition. Kazumasa Ishida is handling character designs, and Takeshi Nakatsuka is composing the music. The main voice cast members, Hina Suguta as Marin Kitagawa and Shoya Ishige as Wakana Gojo, are also reprising their roles, promising the continuation of their charming dynamic.
