The highly anticipated final episode of My Happy Marriage Season 2, episode 26 overall, has been delayed. Originally scheduled to air on March 31, 2025, the episode will now be broadcast on April 9, 2025. This delay affects both the television broadcast in Japan and the global streaming release on Netflix.
Reason for the Delay
Both Kadokawa and the anime’s official website have cited “production delays” as the reason for the postponement. The announcement expressed regret for the delay and assured fans that the updated Netflix streaming schedule would be announced as soon as possible.
Impact on Streaming Schedule
While the Japanese broadcast has a confirmed new date, the international Netflix release schedule is still pending. Fans are advised to monitor the official Netflix Anime account and other official channels for updates.
Episode 25 Delay
This isn’t the first delay My Happy Marriage fans have experienced recently. Episode 25 (Season 2 Episode 12) was also pushed back from its original air date of March 24 and aired on March 31. This prior delay also stemmed from “production circumstances”.
Fan Reactions
Understandably, the delays have caused some concern among viewers. Some fans expressed worries about potential cancellations, but official statements have confirmed that the delays are purely logistical and not indicative of any plans to discontinue the series. The majority of fans have been understanding, offering encouragement to the animation team and hoping they aren’t overworked.
