Princession Orchestra Anime: A Musical Journey in Alicepia
Princession Orchestra is an original Japanese anime television series that premiered on April 6, 2025. It airs on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo and its affiliates and is slated to run for one year. The series is a collaborative effort between Aria Entertainment and King Records, with animation production by Silver Link. It was originally conceived by Akifumi Kaneko and Noriyasu Agematsu, known for their work on Senki Zesshō Symphogear, and is directed by Shin Oonuma with Manta Aisora as the main writer.
The narrative of Princession Orchestra unfolds in Alicepia, an ancient and fun-loving country that faces a new threat from mysterious monsters known as Jamaock. The story centers on a trio of “princesses” who utilize the power of song to combat these creatures and protect their world. A unique aspect of the anime is its approach to musical performances; instead of using pre-recorded tracks, the voice cast members sing new renditions of songs during each episode’s recording sessions.
The main cast of the anime includes Azusa Aoi as Minamo Sorano/Princess Ripple, Yuri Fujimoto as Kagari Sakibe/Princess Zeal, and Azusa Tachibana as Kagase Ichijō/Princess Meteor. Other confirmed cast members for the band Snatch include Chiaki Kobayashi as Callisto, Shōya Chiba as Giita, Junya Enoki as Besu, and Shunsuke Takeuchi as Doran.
