Golden Bomber’s Kiryuin Sho Composes “Everyday Host” Theme Song
Kiryuin Sho, from the visual kei air band Golden Bomber, has written the theme song for Everyday Host. The song, titled “Everyday Host,” will be performed by the voice actors of the main characters: Hiro Shimono, Taku Yashiro, Tasuku Hatanaka, and Nobuhiko Okamoto, as the “EbuHosu Players.” A promotional video featuring the song has already been released on YouTube.
Kiryuin Sho’s Inspiration
Despite generally declining song requests, Kiryuin Sho was inspired by the “mysterious charm” of the Everyday Host story and characters. He aimed to create music and lyrics that would enhance the momentum of these characters and the overall viewing experience.
Director Rarecho’s Praise
Director and scriptwriter Rarecho (known for Aggressive Retsuko) expressed sincere gratitude to Kiryuin Sho for the theme song. Rarecho stated that the song eloquently captures the soul of the original work, even more so than the anime itself, and encapsulates themes of love, desire, loneliness, and frivolity.
