Adam’s Sweet Agony Synopsis and Original Release
Adam’s Sweet Agony, based on Toyo’s manga Modaete yo, Adam-kun, presents a unique premise: a mysterious virus has rendered all men impotent, except for one high school boy named Adam. With four billion women seeking out the last fertile male, Adam attempts to evade temptation by transferring to what he believes is an all-boys special school, only to discover it’s 90% girls. His “secret weapon” is then in constant peril of being, as OceanVeil describes, “discovered!”
The anime first began streaming on AnimeFesta in Japan in December 2023. An English-subtitled version was made available on the Coolmic manga and anime website later that same month. The series then made its television debut on Tokyo MX and BS11, as well as streaming on YouTube and Niconico, in January 2024.
