OceanVeil, the relatively new anime streaming platform from WWWave Corporation, has announced a partnership with Media Blasters to add ten new anime titles to its growing catalog before the end of 2025. This expansion includes a mix of dubbed and subbed series, further diversifying the content available to subscribers.
A Growing Ocean of Anime Content
Launched in March 2025, OceanVeil aims to offer a unique streaming experience, including both mainstream and adult-oriented titles. The platform has been actively expanding its library since its beta release in March, partnering with various distributors to increase its offerings. This latest collaboration with Media Blasters brings a selection of titles that will appeal to fans of classic and niche anime.
OceanVeil describes itself as “built by fans, for fans,” focusing on showcasing titles that may not have received official worldwide releases elsewhere, and acting as a “vault for your deepest secrets,” hinting at its adult content section. The service differentiates itself by offering uncensored versions of adult and mature anime, alongside its more general audience content.
The Newly Added Media Blasters Titles
The partnership will see the addition of ten anime series from Media Blasters, an independent film distributor known for licensing and releasing a diverse range of anime, Japanese cinema, and other genre films.
The following titles will be available with both Japanese audio and English subtitles, as well as an English dub:
- Doomed Megalopolis
- Chu-Bra!!
- Grenadier: The Beautiful Warrior
- Kite: Liberator
- Genshiken
- Green Green
Additionally, these titles will be available with Japanese audio and English subtitles:
- Mazinkaiser SKL
- Yamibo – Darkness, the Hat, and the Travelers of the Books
- Juden Chan
- Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox
These additions signify OceanVeil’s commitment to broadening its appeal beyond its adult content, providing a wider selection for various anime enthusiasts. Earlier in 2025, OceanVeil also announced partnerships with AnimEigo and MVD Entertainment, adding titles like Bubblegum Crash, Time of Eve, and Metal Skin Panic MADOX-01 to its “Safe-for-Work” section.
About Media Blasters
Media Blasters has a long history in the anime industry, licensing and distributing numerous popular and cult classic titles. Their catalog includes a wide array of genres, from shonen and ecchi comedies to live-action films and horror. The company operates several divisions, including Anime Works for general anime titles and Kitty Media for adult anime. Their titles have been streamed on various platforms previously, and this new agreement brings a selection of their catalog to OceanVeil.
The Future of OceanVeil
OceanVeil, operated by WWWave Corporation, has indicated plans to continue increasing its catalog and is exploring options for simuldubs. While the service is noted for its higher subscription price compared to some competitors, it aims to justify this through its unique offerings, including a focus on English dubs for adult-oriented anime, which are less common. This partnership with Media Blasters is a significant step in establishing OceanVeil as a diverse platform for anime streaming.
