Tanezaki shared her thoughts on the series, saying, “When I was a student, I loved ethics classes and reading philosophy books. I remembered those times while reading [the manga]. My head felt like the universe, my heart was warmed, and I was excited.”
Regarding her character, Alberto, Tanezaki commented, “Due to a certain experience in his childhood, he has locked away his abundant intellectual curiosity, but by regaining his true self, the baton is passed on again… he is a very important character in the heliocentric theory.”

The story is set in 15th century Europe, specifically the “P Kingdom,” likely a fictionalized version of Poland, where the teachings of the church are absolute. It follows Rafal, a child prodigy who encounters a mysterious man and begins to explore the heretical theory that the Earth orbits the sun. This idea could lead to his execution by the Inquisition. The story also involves two members of the Watch Guild, Oczy and Gras, who discover hidden texts detailing Rafal’s secrets about the universe.
