What is ‘PuniRunes’ About?
“PuniRunes” is a charming anime produced to promote the PuniRunes toys created by Takara Tomy. The series revolves around the daily lives of the PuniRunes, mysterious and cuddly creatures, and Yuka, a fourth-grader who adores soft, squishy things. The anime captures the heartwarming interactions and everyday adventures of this unique group.
The term “Puni-puni” is a Japanese onomatopoeic word for soft and squishy. The PuniRunes toys have a hole where you can put your finger to “pet” the soft creature inside.
