Rin Kusumi has been cast in the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Shinya Misu’s manga, Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai (also known as I’ll Never Have a Romantic Comedy with My Childhood Friend or No More Love With the Girls), in the role of Shio Minamo.
Shio Minamo is depicted as one of the protagonist Eiyū’s childhood friends. She is described as a popular girl at school with a carefree personality. The character actively tries to get Eiyū to treat her as more than just a childhood friend.
The anime, animated by Tezuka Productions, is scheduled to broadcast in Japan in 2026. The manga began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website in March 2022.
