Story Premise
Rock Is a Lady’s Modesty is based on the manga series by Hiroshi Fukuda, which has been serialized in Young Animal since October 2022. The story centers on Ririsa Suzunomiya, a young girl whose life changes dramatically when her mother remarries a wealthy real estate tycoon. This sudden shift forces her to abandon her guitar and suppress her emotions to conform to the expectations of a “proper lady.”
However, Ririsa’s passion for music is rekindled when she meets Otoha Kurogane, a talented drummer, at her new prestigious all-girls school. Together, they form a rock band. The series is set in a strict all-girls school, where students come together to form a rock band.
