Streaming & Broadcast Deets
Mark your calendars! “Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer!” will begin streaming ahead of its broadcast premiere, arriving on July 5th on d Anime Store and ABEMA streaming services in Japan at 24:00 JST (effectively, July 6th at midnight).
For those waiting for the traditional broadcast, the anime will air on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS Fuji channels starting July 10th. International fans can rejoice as Crunchyroll will stream the series with the English title “Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer!”.

Story Synopsis
“Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer!” follows Lloyd, a white mage banished from the hero’s party because they felt he “wasn’t good enough.” After losing his job, Lloyd unexpectedly joins an S-rank party on a quest. Unbeknownst to everyone, including Lloyd himself, his support magic is extraordinary, and he possesses unparalleled abilities. The story unfolds as Lloyd, who believes he is ordinary, becomes an adventurer and unknowingly gains fame, while the hero’s former party faces unforeseen consequences.
Manga and Light Novel
The original light novel series by Sora Suigetsu began serialization online in March 2020 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. Futabasha later acquired it, publishing seven volumes under their M Novels imprint since November 2020.
A manga adaptation, illustrated by Wasabi Mukuno, has been serialized online via Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website since January 2021, with nine tankōbon volumes collected as of May 2025.
