The upcoming anime adaptation of “Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai” (It’s Not Possible To Be In a Romantic Comedy With a Childhood Friend) has announced that Sae Hiratsuka has been cast in the role of Runa Tsukimi. The series is slated for broadcast in 2026.
Key Casting Details Revealed
Sae Hiratsuka will lend her voice to Runa Tsukimi, a character described as possessing an angelic, devilish, and “little sister”-type personality. This announcement comes as part of the ongoing reveal of the anime’s voice cast.
Other previously announced cast members include Rin Kusumi as Shio Minamo, a character known for her carefree personality and popularity at school, and Yu Serizawa as Akari Hiodoshi, who is depicted as a tsundere and gyaru childhood friend of the protagonist, Eiyuu.

The “Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai” anime is based on the romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Shinya Misu. The manga began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website in March 2022. Tezuka Productions is animating the television series, which is set to premiere in Japan in 2026.
