Fans of the iconic Sailor Moon manga series, prepare to complete your collection! Kodansha USA has announced the upcoming release of the Sailor Moon Naoko Takeuchi Collection Box Set 2 in Fall 2025. This highly anticipated box set will include volumes 7-12 of the main series, and both volumes of the Codename: Sailor V prequel, making it a must-have for dedicated “Moonies”.
A Complete Collection
Following the success of the first Sailor Moon (Naoko Takeuchi Collection) Manga Box Set, Kodansha is delivering on its promise to complete the set with this second installment. This new box set encompasses the remaining volumes of the main Sailor Moon storyline, allowing fans to own the entire core series in a beautifully packaged format.
What’s Inside the Box
The Sailor Moon Naoko Takeuchi Collection Box Set 2 is set to include:
- Sailor Moon Manga Volumes 7-12: Continuing the adventures of Usagi Tsukino and the Sailor Guardians as they battle evil and protect the Earth.
- Codename: Sailor V Volumes 1-2: The prequel series that tells the story of Sailor Venus‘s earlier exploits before joining the other Sailor Guardians.
The Story Continues
For those unfamiliar with the series, Sailor Moon follows the journey of Usagi Tsukino, a seemingly ordinary teenager who discovers she is destined to become Sailor Moon, a guardian of justice. Along with her fellow Sailor Guardians, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus, she must confront various villains and protect the world from darkness.
From Crybaby to Hero
Usagi isn’t the best athlete, she’s never gotten good grades, and, well, she’s a bit of a crybaby. But when she meets a talking cat, she begins a journey that will teach her she has a well of great strength just beneath the surface and the heart to inspire and stand up for her friends as Sailor Moon!
