Seven Seas Entertainment has recently announced the acquisition of licenses for several new manga and light novel series, adding even more variety to their already impressive catalog. Among the newly licensed titles are “Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex” (both manga and light novel), “A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof,” and “My Twisted Eating Disorder.” Here’s a closer look at each of these exciting new additions:
“Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex”: A Romantic Mix-Up
Seven Seas Entertainment is bringing Tobirano’s “Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex” light novel and manga series to English-speaking audiences. The story follows Marie, a young woman who has always lived in the shadow of her sister, in an impoverished baron’s household where her sister always gets preferential treatment. Tragedy strikes when Marie’s sister, who was betrothed to a wealthy Earl, dies en route to the wedding. With the dowry already spent, Marie is sent to take her sister’s place. However, upon arriving, she discovers a major misunderstanding surrounding the proposal.

“A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof”: Deadly Roommates
HundredBurger’s “A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof” is a comedy manga about an unlikely duo: a rogue ninja and a meticulous assassin who end up living together. After a series of unfortunate events, a young ninja named Satoko finds herself sharing a home with Konoha, a deadly assassin. Satoko, on the run from her village due to a misunderstanding, relies on Konoha’s skills to protect her from the ninjas seeking to kill her. Konoha, though not the easiest to live with, tolerates Satoko because of her exceptional cleaning skills, which help Konoha clean up both her apartment and the messes from her assassinations.

Anime Adaptation
“A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof” has already inspired a TV anime adaptation by Shaft, which began airing in Japan on April 10, 2025, and is available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The anime is expected to run for 12 episodes.
“My Twisted Eating Disorder”: A Personal Struggle
“My Twisted Eating Disorder” by Nagata Kabi is an autobiographical manga that explores the creator’s complex and difficult relationship with food. Originally released as a digital exclusive under the title “My Wandering Warrior Eating Disorder,” this manga offers an unflinching and honest look at Nagata Kabi’s struggles with eating disorders, habits, and food preparation.

Background
This short manga was written after “My Wandering Warrior Existence” and was initially only released on digital platforms in Japan. Seven Seas published it in English as an e-book exclusive before releasing “My Pancreas Broke, But My Life Got Better” to maintain the chronological order of Nagata Kabi’s autobiographical series.
