The third part of the Shibuya Hachi anime is set to debut on April 5, 2025, on TV Tokyo. A new promotional video and key visual have been released, announcing the updated staff, a new narrator, and the theme song. This installment continues to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Hachiko, the loyal dog whose statue stands as a symbol of Shibuya station.
Updated Staff and New Additions
The anime’s production sees Nippon Animation returning to animate the third cours, with Usagiou collaborating on animation production as well. PansonWorks remains credited for character designs.

Virtual singer HACHI will perform the new theme song, “Brand New Episode,” which is previewed in the promotional video.
About Shibuya Hachi
Shibuya Hachi is based on the official mascot character SHIBUYA♡HACHI (Shibuya Love Hachi) of the Shibuya City Tourism Association. The anime follows Hachi, who watches over the city as the symbol of the Hachiko statue. In the present day, Hachi comes to life and enjoys a relaxed daily life with his friends. The series features:
