The highly anticipated original TV anime, “SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes,” is set to begin its broadcast on October 5, 2025, on Fuji TV and will be streamed globally by Crunchyroll. While an insert song performed by the in-show unit “SI-VIS” has been unveiled, details regarding the specific opening and ending theme song artists, as well as the anime’s full broadcast length, are still largely under wraps.

Premiere Date and Global Streaming

“SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes,” a collaboration between Aniplex and Sony Music Entertainment, is slated to premiere on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. JST on Fuji TV. For international audiences, Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will stream the series worldwide, excluding Asia. This positions “SI-VIS” as a key title in the upcoming Fall 2025 anime season lineup.

The World of SI-VIS: Music and Heroes

The anime’s compelling premise revolves around a co-ed vocal unit named SI-VIS, renowned globally for their exceptional singing and dynamic performances. However, their public persona masks a deeper truth: they are heroes in disguise, combating a mysterious calamity known as “Mirage” that threatens to destroy the world. Their live concerts are not merely entertainment; they serve as clandestine battles where the energy harvested from their audience is converted into combat power to fight evil, all while maintaining their secret identities from the public eye.

Key Staff and Voice Cast

The production boasts a notable team, with Daisuke Yoshida (known for Idol Incidents) directing the anime at Studio VOLN. Fumiaki Maruto, celebrated for his work on Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend, is overseeing and writing the series scripts. Original character designs are provided by Hidari (Fractale), with Naho Ōtsuki and Nami Fujii adapting them for animation. Shuhei Mutsuki is composing the music for the series.

The main voice cast features prominent talents, including:

  • Daisuke Namikawa as YOSUKE
  • Ayane Sakura as Siren
  • Akari Kitō as μ (Myu)
  • Nobunaga Shimazaki as Sōji
  • Sōma Saitō as JUNE

Music: An Insert Song Revealed, Theme Artists Awaited

While the in-show unit SI-VIS has performed an insert song titled “Melodea,” which was previewed in a teaser video released during Aniplex Online Fest 2025, specific artists for the opening and ending theme songs have yet to be announced. Sony Music Entertainment has stated that they have selected the vocal artists who will provide the singing voices for the characters and that these artists will be revealed at a later date. This suggests that further musical announcements are still to come, adding to the anticipation for the “Music x Hero” themed anime.

Broadcast Length Undetermined

Despite the excitement surrounding its October premiere, an official confirmation regarding the full broadcast length or episode count for “SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes” has not been explicitly announced. While listed as a Fall 2025 anime, a “half-year run” (typically two cours) remains unconfirmed by official sources at this time. Databases like MyAnimeList indicate the end date as “to ?”, signifying that the full duration is still pending release. Fans await further announcements regarding the anime’s complete run.
