The ongoing original television anime series, SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes, has announced the addition of two new voice cast members to its ensemble. Anan Furuya will lend his voice to the protagonist, Kyoya, while Manaka Iwami will portray the “mysterious girl,” Nagi. The anime, which premiered on October 5, 2025, is currently airing for two consecutive cours.
New Voices Join the Heroic Ensemble
Anan Furuya steps into the role of Kyoya, the central figure in SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes. Joining him is Manaka Iwami, cast as Nagi, a character described as a “mysterious girl” first seen in the anime’s premiere episode. These new additions expand the vocal talent bringing the heroic music group to life.
They join a previously announced cast that includes prominent voice actors such as Daisuke Namikawa as YOSUKE, Ayane Sakura as Seiren, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Soji, Akari Kito as μ (Myu), and Soma Saito as JUNE.
Expanding the World of SI-VIS
SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes centers on a popular co-ed music group known globally for their vocals and performances. Unbeknownst to the public, the members of SI-VIS are actually heroes in disguise, battling mysterious forces that threaten to destroy the world. Their live performances are crucial, as they convert the audience’s energy into combat power, all while maintaining the illusion of ordinary concerts to keep their heroic identities a secret.
Production Details and Streaming
The anime is a collaboration between Aniplex and Sony Music Entertainment Japan, with animation handled by Studio VOLN. Daisuke Yoshida is directing the series, with Fumiaki Maruto, known for Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend, overseeing and writing the series scripts. Renowned illustrator Hidari is credited with the original character designs, which have been adapted for animation by Nami Fujii and Naho Otsuki. Shuhei Mutsuki is composing the music for the series.
SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes began its broadcast on Fuji TV and other networks in Japan on October 5, 2025. For international viewers, Crunchyroll is streaming the series in numerous regions, including North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, Indian Subcontinent, and Southeast Asia. New episodes are released on Saturdays.
