Aniplex and Sony Music have officially announced SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes, an original TV anime set to premiere in October 2025. This project, previously teased as a “MUSIC×HERO” anime, will feature a mixed-gender vocal unit named SI-VIS whose performances are secretly battles against a mysterious global threat.
The anime’s full title and key details, including its cast, staff, a teaser visual, and a promotional video, were unveiled following a countdown website launched on July 24.
The Story of SI-VIS: Music Meets Heroism
SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes centers on SI-VIS, a popular mixed-gender vocal unit led by YOSUKE. While captivating audiences in Japan and abroad with their powerful vocals and performances, their true identities are that of heroes secretly fighting to protect the world from a mysterious disaster. The narrative posits that their live performances are, in fact, how they gather the energy needed to combat this unseen threat, maintaining the illusion that they are merely artists.
Key Staff and Voice Cast Revealed
The creative team behind SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes includes seasoned professionals in the anime industry. Fumiaki Maruto, known for his work on Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend and White Album 2, is handling the series composition and script. Character designs are being provided by Hidari, a popular illustrator recognized for contributions to Kotobuki Squadron in the Wilderness and Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.
The main characters will be voiced by a talented lineup of voice actors, including:
