Production and Story Overview
The Silent Witch anime is an adaptation of the light novel series by Matsuri Isora and Nanna Fujimi. Yasuo Iwamoto is directing the anime at Studio Gokumi, with Takaomi Kanasaki serving as chief director, screenwriter, and script supervisor. Cona Nitanda is responsible for character designs, while Cygames and Rina Tayama are credited for the music.
The story revolves around Monica Everett, known as the “Silent Witch,” the only mage capable of using Voiceless Magic and a heroine who single-handedly defeated the legendary Black Dragon. However, despite her immense power, Monica is described as being super-duper shy, having learned Voiceless Magic specifically to avoid public speaking. Her current task involves secretly guarding the second prince, navigating both dangerous threats and her own social anxieties.
