The footage reportedly features Monica and Annie in conversation, with a surprise appearance from Louis.
Ai Kayano Joins the Ensemble Cast
A new addition to the voice cast has been announced, with Ai Kayano taking on the role of Claudia. This expands the already revealed cast which includes Saya Aizawa as the protagonist Monica Everett, Hitomi Nabatame as Nero, Junichi Suwabe as Louis Miller, Atsumi Tanezaki as Isabelle Norton, Shōgo Sakata as Felix Arc Ridill, Kanna Nakamura as Lana Colette, Yoshiki Nakajima as Cyril Ashley, Ryōhei Kimura as Elliott Howard, Yuki Sakakihara as Neil Clay Maywood, Yōko Hikasa as Bridget Greyham, and M.A.O as Rynzbelfeid.
Hitsujibungaku to Perform Opening Theme “Feel”
The opening theme song for “Silent Witch” will be “Feel,” performed by the alternative rock band hitsujibungaku. The band is also confirmed to perform the anime’s ending theme song, titled “mild days.” The opening theme is scheduled to begin streaming in Japan on July 4.
The Story of Monica Everett, the Reluctant Heroine
“Silent Witch” follows Monica Everett, renowned as the world’s sole practitioner of Voiceless Magic and a heroine credited with single-handedly fending off the legendary Black Dragon. However, beneath her formidable magical prowess lies a deeply shy personality; she learned voiceless magic precisely to avoid public speaking. Her current top-secret mission, assigned by the Seven Sages, is to discreetly guard the Second Prince, Felix Arc Ridill, who attends the prestigious Serendia Academy.
Production Team Behind the Adaptation
The anime adaptation is produced by Studio Gokumi, with Yasuo Iwamoto directing the series. Takaomi Kanasaki serves as the chief director, overseeing the series composition and scripts, and also acts as the sound director. Character designs are handled by Cona Nitanda, while Cygames and Rina Tayama are credited with composing the music.
