The Silent Witch anime is set to officially premiere on Japanese television on July 4, 2025. It will broadcast on channels such as Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11, with later airings on YTV and TV Aichi. For international audiences, Crunchyroll will stream the series worldwide, excluding Japan, China, Korea, and Mongolia.
Glimpse into the First Episode
The released three-minute preview of the first episode provides an introduction to Monica Everett, the titular Silent Witch. The footage primarily features Monica and Annie in conversation, alongside a surprise appearance by Louis. The anime’s story centers on Monica Everett, a prodigious yet incredibly shy mage known as the “Silent Witch” due to her ability to cast spells without incantations. Despite her immense power, which includes single-handedly fending off a legendary black dragon, Monica suffers from social anxiety, even learning voiceless magic to avoid speaking in public. Her quiet life in the mountains is disrupted when she is tasked by Louis Miller, a fellow member of the Seven Sages, to secretly guard the second prince, Felix Arc Ridill, at the prestigious Serendia Academy.

The latest announcement reveals that Ai Kayano has joined the voice cast of Silent Witch, taking on the role of Claudia, described as a “walking library”.

Sonic Landscape: Opening and Ending Themes
The alternative rock band hitsujibungaku has been confirmed to perform both the opening and ending theme songs for the Silent Witch anime. The opening theme is titled “Feel,” and the ending theme is “mild days.” “Feel” will be available for streaming in Japan starting July 4, 2025.
