A new promotional video has been released, revealing additional cast members and confirming the July 10 premiere date. Fans can look forward to the series launch on Tokyo MX, followed by BS Asahi and Nagasaki Culture Telecasting Corporation on July 11, and Yomiuri TV on July 15.

Story Premise
Solo Camping for Two centers around Gen Kinokura, a 34-year-old seasoned solo camper who cherishes his solitary excursions into nature. His peaceful routine is disrupted by Shizuku Kusano, a 20-year-old novice camper who is determined to experience solo camping despite her lack of experience. The series follows their unexpected journey as they end up “solo camping” together.

The anime is being directed by Jun Hatori (Taisho Otome Fairy Tale, Too Cute Crisis) at Synergy SP. The series scripts are overseen and co-written by Aya Satsuki (A Girl & Her Guard Dog, Too Cute Crisis) along with Mitsuho Seta and Ōka Tanisaki (Demon Lord, Retry!). Tomomi Shimazaki is responsible for the character designs (Elegant Yokai Apartment Life, Mr. Villain’s Day Off).

Saya Aizawa, who voices Saya Ozora, describes her character as one of Shizuku’s best friends. Aizawa aimed to portray Saya with kindness, emphasizing that all her actions are done with Shizuku in mind.
Yuna Nemoto, the voice of Mizuki Hino, initially saw her character as cool and boyish. However, she realized that Mizuki supports and watches over Shizuku’s growth, much like a parent. Nemoto was struck by the contrast between her initial impression and Mizuki’s caring nature.
