The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Norishiro-chan and Setsuda’s manga, The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses (Kizetsu Yūsha to Ansatsu Hime), has released its first heroine promotional video, spotlighting the character Ciel. Along with the video, a new heroine visual for Ciel has also been revealed.
A key highlight of the promotional video is the announcement and preview of the ending theme song, “Suki Magazine”. This song is performed by the voice cast members of the main heroines: Ciel (Iori Seki), Anemone (Hitomi Ueda), and Gore (Haruka Shiraishi).
A Sneak Peek into the Story
The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses is a fantasy romantic comedy that follows the story of Toto, a hero with exceptional skills but crippling shyness. His shyness prevents him from forming a party and keeps him stuck in the beginner town. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when three beautiful women – Ciel, Anemone, and Goa – invite him to join their party.
Toto, motivated by the prospect of finally embarking on an adventure, eagerly accepts their invitation. However, he is unaware that his new companions harbor a desire to kill him. The series is described as a “harem DEATH rom-com” centering around Toto, who faints in the presence of women, and the three assassin princesses who each have their own reasons for targeting him.
Production Details
The anime adaptation is directed by Noriaki Akitaya at studio CONNECT. Michiko Yokote is in charge of series composition, while Takao Sano is handling character designs. The music is composed by Shun Narita.
