The announcement was made on Tuesday with the launch of an official website, revealing a teaser visual, the main cast, and key staff for the upcoming series.

The newly announced anime, HOPPECHAN -Mystery of the Sun Kingdom and the Black-Cheek Team-, will bring the beloved blob-like character to the small screen through the animation efforts of Toon Harbor Works. The core cast for the series has also been unveiled. Rin Kusumi will voice Ganso (Originator) Hoppe-chan, while Kyōko Kuramochi, a member of the Amuse Dolce VTuber group, will portray Ohana (Flower) Hoppe-chan. Additional cast members include Ayaka Takamura and Ran Misato, with more roles expected to be announced.
