The highly anticipated second trailer for the Tamon’s B-Side anime has been released, confirming that the series will begin streaming on January 1, 2026. This new preview offers fans a deeper look into the adaptation of Yuki Shiwasu’s popular shōjo manga, building excitement for its winter premiere. The anime will also officially air on Tokyo MX and BS11 starting January 4, 2026.
What the New Trailer Showcases
The second trailer provides further glimpses into the dynamic between high schooler Utage Kinoshita and the idol Tamon Fukuhara, her favorite member of the boy band F/ACE. The footage is expected to highlight Tamon’s contrasting personas: his “wild and sexy” on-stage idol image (“Hottiehara”) and his insecure, gloomy off-stage self (“Gloomyhara”). Fans can anticipate more of the comedic and heartfelt interactions that define the manga, as Utage strives to support Tamon and keep his secret.
The trailer is also likely to feature more of the in-universe boy band F/ACE, building upon the previous music video releases for their songs like “F/ACE OFF” and “Supernova.”
January 2026 Premiere and Streaming Details
While the linear television broadcast for Tamon’s B-Side is set for January 4, 2026, on Tokyo MX and BS11 in Japan, the anime will actually become available for streaming three days earlier, on January 1, 2026. This early streaming debut allows international fans to jump into the series right at the start of the new year. The anime’s official accounts had previously announced a January 2026 broadcast window.
