“The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest” follows Alec Yugret, a court magician specializing solely in support magic. Despite his crucial behind-the-scenes contributions to the crown prince’s dungeon-clearing efforts, Alec is unceremoniously dismissed and exiled, deemed “useless” for his specialized skillset.
Jobless and adrift, Alec soon encounters Yorha, a former party member from his academy days. This reunion sparks a new journey as Alec, alongside his old comrades, embarks on a quest to explore dungeons once more and forge a new legend, aiming to become the strongest magician.
Production and Broadcast Details
The anime series is being produced by Studio Gekkou, with Ken Takahashi at the helm as director. The series composition is handled by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, and Yoko Sato is responsible for the character designs.
The opening theme song, “Quest,” will be performed by Kiro Akiyama, while the ending theme, “Kakera” (Fragments), will be performed by aruma.
