The Case Book of Arne Story Premise
The Case Book of Arne is based on a 2017 supernatural mystery adventure game developed by HARUMURASAKI and published by Vaka Game Magazine. The game introduces Arne Neuntöte, a vampire detective with supernatural abilities, and Lynn Reinweiss, a nobleman’s daughter with a fascination for vampires. Their paths intertwine in the mysterious city of “Lügenberg,” a place inhabited by non-humans. Together, they form an unlikely duo to unravel bloody mysteries and bizarre incidents occurring in a world where humanity and the bizarre coexist.
The game has also inspired a manga adaptation by Soraho Ina, which began serialization in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Gene magazine in 2018. Four compiled volumes of the manga have been published. An English version of the game is also available on Steam.
