The upcoming TV anime adaptation of Game Magazine’s mystery game, The Case Book of Arne (Arne no Jiken-bo), has announced three new cast members, further expanding its roster ahead of its January 6, 2026 premiere. The new additions were revealed in celebration of the original game’s eighth anniversary.
New Voices Join the Supernatural Mystery
Yuki Sakakihara, Yūki Shin, and Yōko Hikasa are the latest voice actors to join the cast of The Case Book of Arne. Sakakihara will voice the character Zisye, Shin is cast as Nachzehrer, and Hikasa will take on the role of Amy. Character designs for Zisye, Nachzehrer, and Amy were also released alongside the announcement.
These new cast members will contribute to the dark and intriguing world of the anime, which centers on a vampire detective and a human noblewoman solving bizarre murder cases.
Previously Announced Cast and Key Details
The newly revealed actors join an already announced main cast. Mariya Ise is set to voice Luis Hartman, while Kōki Uchiyama will portray the titular vampire detective Arne Neuntöte. Aimi Tanaka will voice a younger version of Arne Neuntöte, and Yuka Nukui will play Lynn Reinweiss, the daughter of a noble family with a fondness for vampires.
The anime, animated by studio SILVER LINK, is directed by Keisuke Inoue, known for his work on My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!. Inoue is also co-writing the series composition with Murasaki, the original game’s scenario writer and producer. Akiko Satō, the character designer for Trigun Stampede, is handling the anime’s character designs and serving as chief animation director. Yoshiaki Fujisawa is composing the music for the series.
Story and Premiere Information
The Case Book of Arne follows the unlikely partnership between Arne Neuntöte, a vampire detective with supernatural abilities, and Lynn Reinweiss, a noblewoman who finds herself drawn into the mysterious city of Lügenberg, where non-humans reside. Together, they investigate bloody mysteries that blur the lines between humanity and the bizarre.
The TV anime is scheduled to premiere on January 6, 2026, on NTV and other channels in Japan. It will subsequently air on BS NTV and AT-X. Singer Sou will perform the opening theme song “Q.E.D.,” and singer-songwriter Watashi Kobayashi will perform the ending theme song “Ningyō no Machi” (Doll Town), with the latter arranged by Takeaki Wada, the composer of the original game’s theme song.
