About The Daily Life of a Single 29-Year-Old Adventurer
The anime is based on Ippei Nara’s manga, which began serialization in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in January 2016. The story centers on Shinonome Hajime, a seasoned 29-year-old adventurer and dungeon delver. His tranquil daily life takes an unexpected turn when he rescues a young girl named Rirui from a slime monster in a dungeon. Abandoned and with nowhere to go, Rirui reminds Hajime of his own past, leading him to take her in and begin an unconventional life together. The manga, available on the Magazine Pocket service, has released 20 compiled volumes in Japan to date.
